Issue Description

NE features synchronous operation, the collector always sync failed.

Handling Process

Step 1 On the main topology, selected network elements that characteristics synchronization failed.
Step 2 In the menu bar, select “System> NE communication parameters> NE SNMP parameter template management. "
Step 3 in the default Access Protocol Parameters "dialog box, click" Show. "
Step 4 Set the "timeout" to "30" seconds, or greater than "30" seconds.

Step 5 Click "Apply."

Root Cause

Network element configuration data at the maximum value, called the full configuration of network elements. NE in the state, can not be re-configured the new data. In general, network elements will reach full with the state when the interface data about more than 50,000.
Network management system using SNMP protocol for network metadata that default timeout is 5 seconds, when excessive network metadata, the NE feedback messages time will be more than five seconds, then the collector will identify that sync is timeout. It feedback synchronization failure message to the network management system.
