SQL Server 2008 installation failed, how to uninstall and re-install?
Handling Process
SQL Server has stopped. If it hasn’t stopped, can according to the following steps to stop:
1. In the Start menu, select “All Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2008> Configuration Tools > SQL Server Configuration Manager”.
2 In the pop-up dialog box, select "SQL Server Configuration Manager> SQL Server Services.
3. In the right panel, right-click the "State" is "Running" program, select "Stop".
Open "Start> Control Panel".
In the right panel of the “Control Panel” dialog box, click the "Uninstall program."
In the "Uninstall or change program" dialog box, right-click "Microsoft SQL Server 2008" and select the "Uninstall / Change".
Start SQL Server 2008 uninstall program, according to the prompt information to delete the installed SQL Server 2008.
Then reinstall SQL Server 2008
