Issue Description

From DOS windows log on to the FTP server ( FTP to USG firewall ) no response, wait about 20 seconds after the onset of the FTP> prompt, not prompted to enter a user name and password in the FTP> process, when executing a command prompt is not connected.

Handling Process

Be as follows investigation network and equipment failure:
1) first identified FTP server address routing is up to? Whether ping;
2) routability, detection FTP server or an intermediate network device is configured to prohibit the strategy of FTP request packet filtering;
3) check the FTP Server issued a response message is an intermediate network equipment filtering;

Root Cause

The cause of the problem is not received a response from the server FTP port unreachable message, i.e.. The concrete can be divided into the following kinds of reasons:
1) routing unreachable.
2) routability but port unreachable.
