Issue Description
login OS of E6000 blade from iMana portal, when inputting special characters, take “|” as an example, an unexpected character “<” is displayed, which results in that the user is not able to output “|”.
Alarm Information
Handling Process
Step 1: The main principle of E6000 iMana is described as below,
Virtual KVM of iMana gains the key code when a key press is detected, then iMana analyses the key code and sends it to blade OS. Due to the default setting of keyboard layout(US 101 keys) in SMM and BMC components, the input and output of some characters do not match with each other

Step 2: To solve the problem, a patch must be implemented
Replace file of BMC /data/web/web/jar/vconsole.jar
Replace file of SMM /apache/htdocs/jar/vconsole.jar
Root Cause
Step1: There are different keyboard layouts according to each country’s tradition, the keyboard layout is 101 keys in US while the keyboard layout is 102 keys in UK

Step 2: When login OS of E6000 blade via telnet or ssh tool, you can output all the characters correctly as you wish

Step 3: When OS of E6000 blade from iMana portal, the problem appears, and it suggests that the reason comes from SMM and BMC components
it's suggested to upgrade Fw of E6000 to the lastest version before put into commerical use
