Issue Description

The RAID group of OceanStor S3900 can support the capacity of a maximum 24 disks.

Alarm Information

Can’t create LUN greater than 16TB.

Handling Process

1. Log into ISM.
2. Create RAID groups for the storage device.
3. Create LUN for RAID groups.
4. Add a slave LUN to a master LUN.
5. After the slave LUN added to the master LUN, the LUN total capacity equals to the sum of the master and the slave LUNs total capacities. The LUN ID for the master LUN doesn’t change.

Root Cause

When the LUN remaining capacity cannot meet service requirements, it is possible to combine some LUNs for expanding LUN capacities.

Suggestions

The LUN greater than 16TB is created without changing the LUN ID.
Thereby, it is possible to combine some LUNs for expanding LUN capacities.
