When the ISM is used to manage a device, the information dialog box is displayed repeatedly.
Enable the disabled ports of the service network port on the device. The ISM stops displaying the information dialog box. The problem is resolved.
When the service network port IP address of the storage device resides on the same network segment as the ISM client host IP address, the storage device sends the event information to the ISM client through the optimum path of the service network port IP address selected by the route.
For security reasons, some ports of the service network port module on the device (including port 8011 used for reporting data to the ISM) are disabled by a switch. As a result, the data fails to be reported. The ISM constantly displays the information indicating that the client data is inconsistent with the device data. You need to manually refresh the device to obtain the latest information.
This problem occurs because the ISM prevents the reported event loss. Therefore, you need to manually refresh the device to obtain the latest information.
Ensure that the client and the device are properly connected and the ports of the service network port are enabled.
