Root Cause

UltraPath - for multipathing -  it’s not supported  by  VMware ESXi (5.1)  currently.

(Our engineering from R&D dept. work for a solution regarding this incompatibility issue)

Suggestions

After you run this command to disable the host path alarm function, the existing alarms about host paths cannot be automatically moved to the historic alarm list.

The involved alarms include:

     - "The UltraPath is not installed on the host or the installed UltraPath is of an early version",

-"The UltraPath on the host is incompatible with the storage array software",

     - "The LUN cannot be accessed through a redundant path",

     - "The link from the host to the storage array is faulty",

-"The link between the host and the storage array is unstable".

You have to manually move those alarms.
