eSpace U1910 comfort noise too loud

Issue Description

Whenever there is any call either outgoing or incoming there is extra noise generated by our PBX when the subscriber of our device is not speaking.

Handling Process

After the analisys was defined that this noise is generated by our device, and this problem can be solved by running the command: config set hpenable switch on wich automatically will adjust the CNG for analog lines, also is important to know that this setting will be lost or disconfigured whenever the device is restarted, therefore that this command has to be reenabled after a reboot, this is a known bug of our device and the problem will be fixed when the SPC700 version is released.

Root Cause

The Noise isonly heard when our PBX's user is not speaking therefore that is considered to be the CNG generating the extra nois cause should not be so loud, some packet traces were requested to customer for analysis (attached), after analyzing the RTP packets and listening to the call we can hear the noise, if as well is very small, this will use additional broadband and is annoying for customer, we can also see the noise in the voice analysis graph.


Devices should be upgraded as soon as the new version is available o avoid recurrence of bugs and know issues.
