The network is normal. A message is displayed indicating incorrect request parameters after a login to the ISM using Internet Explorer 8. The login fails.

Handling Process

  1. On the Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options > General. In Browsing History, select Delete browsing history on exit and click Settings.
  2. In Temporary Internet Files, select Every time I visit the webpage for Check for newer versions of stored pages and click OK.
  3. Click Delete... and select all options except Preserve Favorites website data.Click Delete... and select all options except Preserve Favorites website data.
  4. On Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Developer Tools or directly press F12.
  5. Press  to clear the IE cache.


Root Cause

The login failure is caused by the Internet Explorer cache.


If this fault occurs when the network is normal, clear the Internet Explorer cache to rectify the fault.
