Issue Description

We create alarms on U2000 many times the status  was disconnect  and then clear the alarm, it was OK.
But now U2000 is not clearing the alarm successfully.
a. For VlanIf 107 , VLAN 107 is regarded to port Gigabitethernet 0/0/7,the alarm on  Gigabitethernet 0/0/7 was cleared ,
but for vlanif 107 was not.
b. I checked the status of the interface vlanif 107  on device and it is  UP.

Alarm Information

On the device there is no any alarm information, but on U2000 we can see the alarms doesn't clear

Handling Process

1.On server :click " NE channel MANAGEMENT" and select "alarm service  label", make sure the "private-netmanager"  option is  “YES”.
2.On device:  configure "snmp-agent target-host trap  address udp-domain ip-address params securityname public v2c private-netmanager ". This will make sure the trap message  were sent to the server reliably.

Root Cause

Trap message uses UDP and  there  is  no  reliable  mechanism to ensure it can be received  by U2000 server. If the trap message get lost ,the U2000 server cannot  synchronize the device alarms.

Because the trap message is not so reliable ,if it get lost because of some reason ,the server cannot synchronize the alarm status of device. We advise to use the "private-netmanager“ function to make it sent reliably.
