Issue Description

Cannot start the database Sybase and also cannot run NMS service.

Alarm Information

No Logs

Handling Process

After I could not run the Database service, and last option was resinstall the complete system I start to follow errors acording to Internet webpages.

The error I find was one directory on Database path is missing.

The idea was because the system will work in HA solution and U2000 with problem can conect to Active U2000 working fine  I compare the same directory between them.

I copy the directory from U2000 working fine and located to U2000 with problems and that solve the issue. after U2000 have the directory it can start the database normally and then start NMS service.

Root Cause

First contact R&D to help me check what will be the probably cause.
After many intents to start Databse services and got bad result, I start to look for error on Internet in order to try solve issue.
I think It was not problem of U2000, I think it was problem of Database crash.
So I focus on Solaris errors.

be careful when U2000 is power off, follow the process on shutdown U2000 server, because I think may be that was the root reason.
