Issue Description

The symptom is as follows:
1. The customer configures VLAN 2 as the carrier VLAN during the TRILL configuration.
trill
carrier-vlan 2
admin-vlan 1
port-mode trunk
2. The customer is prompted with a VLAN conflict when configuring the trunk allow-pass vlan all command on the service interface.
interface 10GE1/0/11
port link-type trunk
port trunk allow-pass vlan all
#

Alarm Information

1. VLAN 2 is configured as the carrier VLAN, which means that VLANIF 2 and relevant Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) configurations cannot exist.
[CE6850_17.192]int vlan 2
Error: The VLAN has been configured to TRILL carrier VLAN.

2. If VLANIF 2 exists, VLAN 2 cannot be configured as the carrier VLAN.
[CE6850_17.192-trill]carrier-vlan 2
Error: The VLAN has been configured to VLANIF.

Handling Process

Allow only VLANs 3 to 4094 on interface 10GE1/0/11, but not VLAN 2.
interface 10GE1/0/11
port link-type trunk
port trunk allow-pass vlan 3 to 4094

Root Cause

The carrier VLAN in TRILL is used between RBs and cannot function as a service VLAN. The conflict with the service VLAN only means that the carrier VLAN cannot be used a common VLAN. The carrier VLAN are not allowed on the interface. Such a VLAN conflict has no impact on other services.
