How to configure the motion detection of V1300N

Issue Description

This case is to introduce how to configure the motion detection of V1300N server.

Handling Process

1. Log in to the camera webpage.
Step 1  Choose Settings > Channel Configuratoin > Motion Detection Parameters.

Step 2  Select Enable the motion detection.
Step 3  Specify an alarm area in Area Settings.


2. Log in to the ESM.
a) On the PC client, enter http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/ in the address box of the browser.
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX represents the IP address of the service network port on the management unit or management server.
b) Choose ESM. The ESM login page is displayed.
c) Enter the user name and password, and select a language.
Both the default user name and password are admin.
d) Press Enter or click Login. The ESM interface is displayed.

Click the Resource tab and choose Video Surveillance > Device Resource.
Expand the NVR navigation tree, and select the NVR where the cameras to be edited reside.
The camera navigation tree of the NVR is displayed under the NVR navigation tree.


Select camera A in the navigation tree of the camera.
a. Click the Basic Settings, and click Edit in the Motion Detection area.
b. Set the dynamic detection policy to Full screen.


c. Click OK.
d. Click OK in the confirmation dialog box that is displayed.

Send a video linkage policy to camera A.
a. Click the Policy Settings tab.
b. In the Linkage area, click edit.
c. Configure a video linkage policy.


Configure a Client linkage policy.
