Failed to Access the ITA Portal Because the Maximum SQLSERVER Memory Is Not Specified

Issue Description
The ITA portal cannot be access, an error whose event ID is 10011 exists in an ITA server application log, indicating that the memory usage exceeds 96%.

Handling Process
1. Increase the server memory from 4 GB to 8 GB.

2. Set the maximum memory of for the SQLSERVER service on the active and standby ITA servers.
a) Right-click a database instance, and choose Properties from the shortcut menu.

b) Choose Memory and set Maximum Server Memory to 2048.

Root Cause
 The ITA, DDC, and DB components are deployed on the same server whose memory is only 4 GB.
 SQLSERVER 2008R2 is installed on the ITA/DDC/DB server. According to Microsoft KB (, SQLSERVER memory usage keeps increasing due to sql Server 2008 memory processing mechanism instead of memory leakage.
