Issue Description
The following section describes the results of the hardware health check in the FusionCube Infrastructure Virtualization scenario.
Root Cause
FusionCube Infrastructure Virtualization is a factory-installed system. During system initialization process, a health check is performed for hardware in the whole system to see whether the hardware status is normal and the delivered hardware devices are consistent with those specified in the contract.
In addition, server blades and subracks are independently delivered. Therefore, the blades may be incorrectly inserted at site. The hardware health check can help onsite engineers to detect these problems so that they can perform required operations based on the check results to rectify the faults.
The following lists the check results and their meanings:
PASS: indicates that the hardware has passed the health check.
FAIL: indicates that the configuration verification or health check fails.
AD: indicates that the blade is not included in the contract and has been added to the system during system capacity expansion.
LO: indicates that a blade that is included in the contract does not exist in the system. The blade may be replaced by another one.
RE: indicates that the blade in a slot is not the one on the same slot during the previous health check. The blade may be replaced.
