Error Code 30101123 Is Displayed for Configuration Distribution During Server Capacity Expansion

Issue Description

  •  During capacity expansion of the cloud platform, the system displayed error code 30101123, which indicates that the baseboard management controller (BMC) password fails to be configured by running an IPMI command。
  •  When you ran a command based on the related guide to manually set the BMC password to Huawei123, the operation also failed.

Handling Process

1. Run the following command to clear data on the node for which configuration data distribution fails:
clearcfg node=Node name, Node name
2. Log in to the BMC system of the server that fails to be added to the system and disable the password complexity check function.
3. Log in to the SingleCLOUD Configuration System and distribute configuration data to the node again.

Root Cause

By default, the password complexity check function is enabled for new Huawei and third-party servers. In SingleCLOUDV100R002C01SPC200, random passwords generated by the system fail to meet the complexity requirements. Therefore, password configuration by running the IPMI command failed.
