FusionAccess R5C1 communication between system and NTP is abnormal

Issue Description

There are four alarms in FusionAccess portal "communication between system and NTP is abnormal ".  Below four servers reported this alarm: VDS-HDC-1, VDS-HDC-2, VDS-VAG-1,VDS-VAG-2

Alarm Information

Handling Process

1,  login one of the server reported the issue with VNC, check the NTP IP cofiguration in below screen.

2, check the network between the server and the NTP:

3, if the network is fine, check how many NTP server are there in total ,if there are two, we must configure both. if there are more than two ,we must configure the domain name.

Root Cause

The alarm is possiblely caused by below :

1. network between server and NTP is not connected through
2.  The NTP IP address configured in server is not correct
3, other reason.


1, we suggested to configure the domain name than the IP address. because if the IP changed and domain name keeps the same ,we don't need change anything.
