Issue Description

NAS: OceanStor N8300V100R100

Customer found an alarm from file system

He wants to modify the alarm threshold from 80% to 90%

Alarm Information

as below

Handling Process

Step1, login N8300 with “support” account (password “symantec”).

Step2, Run command “su - master” to enter master mode.

Step3, Run command “storage fs alert show” to find the file system you want to modify.
For example:billchen

Step4, Run command “storage fs alert set numspace 90 billchen”.(billchen is the name of FS)

Step5, Run command “storage fs alert show” to check if it works.

Root Cause

Root cause:
There is a default alarm threshold which is 80% space of file system. When the usage of file system is above 80%, the alarm will occur.

we can just modify the threshold from to 80% to 94%, because, when the filesystem usage reaches 95%, system will become read-only
