during some testing with the MCU 8660 a alarm occured. when check the alarm was showing high temperature of the GPUA board.
Alarm Info: high temp board slot 2
After removing the PDU which was blocking the air out the temperature was still 70C. then i washed the filters in front of the MCU 8660 but still the temperature was high. after this i though to clean all the parts of MCU 8660 like fans, air filters, etc.
after this i cleaned all the fans which a mild brush and washed all the filter in the MCU so that the air can pass through those filters. and also cleaned the boards as they were also very dusty. after complete cleaning and washing the alarm went off and board temperature was normal now.
during some testing when this alarm occured i tried to check the fan status of the MCU 8660 which was fine. then i checked the back side of the rack in which MCU 8660 was installed. then i see that right behind the fans there is one PDU installed which is blocking the air out.
whenever this alarm come try to check all the air in and outs whether they are blocked or not if not then try to clean the filters and fans and boards as well. then your problem will be resolved.
