VM Registration Fails Due to Rising Antivirus Software

Issue Description

After users use the VM template to provision VMs or update the linked clone template, VMs are successfully created but fail to be registered.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

1. Log in to the VM using the VNC, and find the following registry of the user VM:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager]
2. Double-click BootExecute. In the displayed dialog box, enter HWIdentity under the autocheck autochk * line.
This registry entry is an item executed during Windows startup. During Rising Antivirus installation, this registry entry is overwritten; therefore, the services required for service provisioning cannot be started.

Root Cause

During Rising Antivirus installation, the software overwrites the Windows startup registry entry, which causes that the computer name changing service cannot be started, and the VMs cannot be registered after being created or the linked clone VM template is updated.
