Handling Process

1-Log in to FusionCompute.

2-Choose VDC Management > VM and Template. On the Summary tab page, click Create VM in the operation area.

3-Retain the default parameter settings.

4-Retain the default values for other parameters. On the Set VM page, set the key parameters as follows:

NIC Settings: Set to the service plane port group.
Disk Settings

Capability: 30

5-complete the VM creation as prompted.

6-Choose VDC Management > VM and Template. On the row of the  VM, choose Operation > Log in using VNC.

7-On the VNC login page, click , mount the ISO file to the VM, select Restart the VM now to install the OS, and click Confirm.

8-After the VM is restarted, complete the Windows OS installation as prompted, set Password of the administrator account, and log in to the VM.

9-Unmount CD-ROM from VM.

10-Disable the firewall.

11-Install required softwares and drivers.

On the FusionCompute portal, choose VDC Management > VM and Template. The VM tab page is displayed.
On the row of the template VM, click Convert to template in the Operation column.

The VM is converted to a template if the VM icon in the navigation tree on the left changes from  to .
