certificate following POPUP message comes :

Alarm Information

Handling Process

Commonly, this window should not pop-up when login using SVN client.  Once it pop-up, we need to check the certificate by viewing it, check if the date is expired.  If the date is valid, we need to  check with security certificate issuer about the validity of the security certificate.  Also, we need to ensure that Windows is valid &  has all the necessary updates, especially the Update for Root Certificates.

Root Cause

The pop-up window is NOT bring up from SVN software, but from the Windows operation system.  The main purpose is informing user that the security certificate of the visited site is revoked.

By default the Windows operating system checks the certification revocation status via certificate revocation lists (CRL).

For SVN internetworking in CA mode, we should test from the Valid/original windows platform & we also need to check it have  all the necessary updates, especially the Update for Root Certificates.
