Once the customer wants to login the ISM through the web, it can't generate GUI automatically. But the cluster status is normal.
Once you meet the GUI problem, it may be caused by two reasons.
Console IP is not on the CVM master node, you can check like this , use the console IP (10.123.119.60) to log in with (support/support@storage) ,and check the following information.
IMG_03:~ # vxdctl -c mode
mode: enabled: cluster active – MASTER // check the console node
IMG_03:~ # vxclustadm nidmap
Name CVM Nid CM Nid State
IMG_01 0 0 Joined: Slave
IMG_02 2 1 Joined: Slave
IMG_03 1 2 Joined: Master
IMG_04 3 3 Joined: Slave //check the CVM master node
If the master node of CVM is not on the console node, just go to master mode(master/Master@storage), and run ‘scanbus’. The GUI will be back.
If they are in the same node, but still can’t use the GUI. It will be caused by the firewall. Use (support/support@storage) log in.
Run ‘./opt/VRTSnasgw/scripts/iptables-sfsnode.sh ‘ , it will refresh the firewall .
