Setting the BMC User Password

Issue Description
When he tries to set the password of an IPMI user the system returns the following error :

"Set User Password command failed (user 3): Unknown (0x84)"

After command execution, he got this error:

"Set User Password command failed (user 3): Unknown (0x84)"
Handling Process
For this issue, we need to execute the following command in order to get a list of all users:

  ipmitool user list

Then, please run next command in order to set the password for your user:

  ipmitool user set password x yyyyyyyy

“x” means the id of the user, in your case, it is about user 3.
“yyyyyyy” means the new password. Please bear in mind that the password must require:

The password must be a string of 8 to 16 characters and contain the following characters:

•         At least one space or one of the following special characters:
•         Uppercase letters (A to Z)
•         Lowercase letters (a to z)
•         Digits (0 to 9)
