Old Phones Cant call The New one

Issue Description

  • Customer install the new telephone series , working fine can call the other phones normaly
  • old series cant call the new series 

Alarm Information

when the Old phone try to call the New one give error [ Not Acceptable here] ]

Handling Process

• Check the accounts setting [working fine]
• try to replace the account and it was fine
• collect the logs from the phones and U1910 analysis it found the problem
 

 

Root Cause

The Old Phone was sending RTP/SAVP , which not supported by default on the new series eSpace 7910

Solution

enable the RTP/SRTP on the new phone , from web interface of the phone

Suggestions

Enable this option by default on the setting of the new series, may be on the software release
