During the set-up session of the host of TP1102 a power outage ocurred.
Upon restoring the power, the host powered up however the web portal was inaccessible. At the time of the power outage, the set-up was at the Set System Model option.
Even after reboot or putting the DIP switch 1 to ON, the host's web portal was inaccessible.
Several steps were taken to solve this issue:
1. A power outage occurred while setting up the TP host thus access to the web portal of the host was lost and several steps were taken to have it restored:
a) Powered off the device;
b) Put DIP switch 1 and 2 to ON;
c) Connected laptop to the LAN 2 of the host and noticed the host responds to IMCP requests (Default IP address: 172.16.21.10) however the web portal was not accessible.
d) Powered off host and connected the laptop to LAN 1;
e) Put DIP switch 2 to OFF and left DIP switch 1 to ON;
f) Powered on the host;
g) Host was responding to ICMP requests (default ip address 192.168.1.1), web portal still not working;
2. Several attempts were performed to re-install the firmware by using the Upgrade Tool but, to no avail (the host was generating the following error: err Data rcv)
3. Other steps were performed to have the host accept the firmware:
a) Connected through SSH to host using default credentials;
b) Ran the following command "main upgopen on" to allow upgrade process to start on the device;
4. Used the Upgrade Tool to reinstall the software (using the same firmware version) thus re-establishing access to the web portal:
a) After the reinstall was successful, powered off the host;
b) Connected the laptop to LAN 2 again and put DIP switch 1 to OFF;
c) Powered on the host - web portal was accessible afterwards.
An uncommon issue appeared when trying to reinstall the firmware in order to be able to access the web page of the host.
Upon trying to reinstall the firmware using the Upgrade Tool the device was not accepting the new firmware as the host was generating the following error: err Data rcv
After issuing the "main upgopen on" command in a SSH session the reinstall was possible thus re-establishing access to the web portal of the host.
