Issue Description

Users A, B and C are using IP phone 7910 software version: V200R002C00SPC400.

1. A is engaged in a call with B.

2. C makes a call to A.

3. C receives the "The peer user’s phone is busy" message displayed on the IP phone screen, but does not hear the busy tone, as expected.

Solution

This is the normal behavior. The IP phone will not play the busy tone, only the message "The peer user’s phone is busy"  will be displayed on the screen.

As an alternative, the IP-PBX can be configured with with the Default Automatic Swithboard to play a voice prompt informing user C that the called user is busy at the moment.

In order to configure the Automatic Switchboard, you need to generate and upload the voice.zip file to the U1900 and run the "vu script command line.txt" and "vu script command line 2.txt" commands found in Script\english.

After hearing the voice prompt, if user C decides to hangup, the "The peer user’s phone is busy" message will not be displayed anymore. 

If user C listens to the voice prompt until the end, the message "The peer user’s phone is busy" will be displayed on the IP phone.
