Issue Description

This case describe how to implement cron job for backup configuration.

Solution

If you are looking for a way to periodically implement configuration backup on your AR G3 router, you have 2 posibilities:

1. Use assistant task and tftp.

Create the task to run cron every hour

#
assistant task test
if-match timer cron if-match timer cron * 0 0/1 * * * *
perform 1 batch-file flash:/tftp.bat
#

Create tftp batch command file and load it into flash.

<Client 2>more tftp.bat
quit
tftp 192.168.1.2 put flash:/210235384110e5000081.txt

And now you have a cron that upload the router configuration file every hour on a TFTP server.

2. the second solution refers of using an FTP server and helps to authenticate the ftp user. We will use NQA:
nqa test-instance admin huawei
test-type ftp
destination-address ipv4 192.168.2.2     \\\\\\ ftp server address
frequency 3600         \\\\\ Frequency defines how often the ftp test repeats in seconds, for example 3600 which  is 1 hour . day.
ftp-username XXXX                                   \\\\ ftp user name
ftp-password cipher XXXXX                        \\\\\ ftp password
ftp-filename rsa_host_key.efs
ftp-operation put                                         \\\\ ftp operation
start now
