The AR Fails to Load the System Software Package or Start

Issue Description
A new AR2240 fails to load version files in BootROM mode and start.

Handling Process
During device startup, press Ctrl+B to enter the BootROM main menu when the following message is displayed.

USBD  Wind River Systems, Inc. 562 Initialized EHCI Controller found. Waiting to attach to USBD...Done. no burnFlag. Press Ctrl+B to break auto startup ... 3 Enter Password:******

    1. Default Startup 2. Serial Menu 3. Network Menu 4. Startup Select 5. File Manager 6. Reboot 7. Password Manager Enter your choice(1-7):    

Select 3. The following information is displayed:

Network Menu 1. Display parameter 2. Modify parameter 3. Save parameter 4. Download file 0. Return

Select 4. The following information is displayed:

Enter your choice(1-4):4 Download file to: [ 1:flash 2:sd1 ]:2 Check SD Card[1] file system. Please wait.... SD Card check Fail! Please FORMAT SD Card first.

The preceding information shows that the SD card fails to be initialized. The SD card may be not properly installed during transportation. Remove the SRU. Remove and reinstall the SD card. The fault is rectified.

It is a common problem that the SD card or memory module is not properly installed during transportation. Determine whether the SD card or memory module is installed properly by checking the information displayed on the AR. If the card is not properly installed, the fault can be rectified by removing and reinstalling the card.
