Number Display Faults During the Third-Party Interconnection

Issue Description

1. The IP PBXs in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou are connected to each other. Among the IP PBXs, Shanghai uses a SoftCo9500.

2. Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou have their own four-digit extension number. Extension numbers may overlap.

3. Prefixes 422, 406, and 405 are added before the Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou outgoing numbers, respectively.

When a user places a call from Shanghai to Guangzhou, the calling number prefix can only be configuredto 405.

Handling Process

Step 1 Set Beijing as call source 1 on the Shanghai tandem office.

config add callsource no 1//Add call source 1
config modify trunkgroup no X callsourceno 1//X refers to the trunk group number of calls from Beijing to Shanghai.
conf add tgld callsourceno 1 officeno Y protocol sip prefix 405 clipredeal yes cliindex 1//Y refers to the office route from Shanghai to Guangzhou.
config add predeal index 1 changetype delete changepos 0 changelen 3

Step 2 Follow the proceeding ways to set Guangzhou as call source 2 on the Shanghai tandem office.


Root Cause

The Shanghai tandem office is configured with no call sources for routing the calls between Beijing and Guangzhou.
