Failure for an IAD1280 User to Disable the CFU Service by Dialing 0

Publication Date:  2015-07-16  |   Views:  624  |   Downloads:  0  |   Document ID:  EKB1000073506

Issue Description

An IAD1280 user fails to disable the CFU service by dialing 0#57# on the IMS network.

Handling Process

Step 1 If the prefixes on the SoftCo do not conflict with each other, configure number changing rules on the SoftCo. After the number changing rule is enabled, the called number is changed to #57#. The SoftCo sends #57# to the IMS.

Step 2 If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.

Root Cause

The possible causes are as follows:
  • If a number contains special cases but does not start with * and #, the IAD1280 deletes the special cases and keep the digits. For example, if a uses dials 0#57#, the IAD1280 deletes # and sends 057 to the SoftCo.
  • Data configurations are incorrect.
