The message "Console server is disconnected from the audio server, please try later" is displayed on the console client when the attendant attempts to log in to the client. However, the attendant can re-log in to the client after logging out of the client first. This fault occurs every 4-5 minutes or every 1 hour.
Step 1 Collect and analyze console server logs. The SoftCo is disconnected and re-connected to the console server irregularly.
Step 2 Review the network.
One upstream switch is found unstable.
Step 3 Replace the unstable switch with a functional one. After one-month observation, the problem does not happen.
The SoftCo is not properly connected to the console server, leading to disconnections. Note that the disconnection generally results from unstable network, such as intermittent disconnection and packet loss.
This fault case helps customers learn to use console logs to identify the fault cause. These logs help customers determine whether the fault is a network fault or a SoftCo fault, expediting troubleshooting process.
