IADs on different network segments cannot ping the SoftCo. The SoftCo and devices on other network segments are disconnected.
Step 1 Connect a PC to the network and ping other devices from the PC. If other devices can be pinged, the network works properly.
Step 2 Check whether the gateway IP address configured on the SoftCo is correct. If no, correct the gateway IP address on the SoftCo.
Step 3 In the BOOT1 or BOOT2 debugging menu, check whether the debugging network port is on the same network segment as the service network port. If yes, the service network port cannot be connected to the network. Access the BOOT menu, run the p0 command to view the current IP address of the debugging network port, and run the c0 command to change the IP address to an unused one.
1. The Ethernet router is not correctly configured.
2. The gateway IP address configured on the SoftCo is incorrect.
3. The configuration of the debugging network port is incorrect.
