Failed to Make Outgoing Calls

Publication Date:  2015-04-21 Views:  684 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

Outgoing calls fail. Based on call log analysis, the U1900 sends the Setup message to the carrier, and the carrier directly returns the Disconnect message. The release reason is unspecified.

Handling Process

Step 1 Confirm with the customer. It is leaned that the number type required by the peer office is ISDN/telephony numbering plan. The U1900 sends numbers of the unknown type by default.

Step 2 Run the config pra huawei on command to make the local office support numbers of the ISDN/telephony numbering plan type.

Step 3 Test again. The fault is rectified.

Root Cause

The peer office cannot recognize the number type sent by the local office.

Pay attention to this fault in scenarios of interworking with PBXs.
