Issue Description

What Precautions Should Be Taken in the Use of AR Routers?

Take the following precautions when using AR routers:
  1. Routers are powered by high-voltage power sources. High voltage may cause body injuries or even death. Do not open the chassis unless instructed by professionals.
  2. Ground the routers properly to protect the routers from lightning.
  3. A router has many ESD-sensitive components. Before touching a router, a board or an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) chip, wear an ESD wrist strap and connect one end of the wrist strap to the ground. This prevents the ESD-sensitive components from being damaged by the static electricity generated by the human body.
  4. AR routers support various WAN interfaces, including GE, FE, ADSL2+, G.SHDSL, FXS, FXO, ISDN, E1/T1, and SA/AS interfaces. The interface connectors are similar. Before connecting cables to WAN interfaces, read the instructions on the panel carefully to ensure that correct cables are connected to the interfaces.
