Fault symptom : customer can not collect logs through ISM and got below error
we asked customer to collect the logs to find the root cause
Root Cause :
it requires more than 100MB free memory when collecting the log, so it will cause log collect failed if the free memory is less than 100MB.
Because of network failover happened on 2015.5.5, it occupied a lot of memory.
There is only 47MB free memory when customer try to collect the log, so it failed.
Steps to reset controllers to release the memory usage :
1、 Login the CLI of the storage by SSH;
2、 input developer,the password is debug@storage;
3、 Run the command rebootcontroller -c a to reset controller A;
4、 Wait 10 minutes, login the storage again，and run the command showsys and showcontroller to confirm both controller status are normal;
5、 run developer, the password is debug@storage;
6、 Run the command rebootcontroller -c b to reset controller B;
7、 Wait 10 minutes, login the storage again，and run the command showsys and showcontroller to confirm both controller status are normal.
8、Login the storage ISM and collect logs normally
