When Internet Explorer is used to log in to the SMC, the SMC web interface does not display correctly. For example, the drop-down list content is not properly displayed.
Attempt to close the compatibility view of the Internet Explorer. If the problem persists, try to clear the Internet Explorer cache.
To close the compatibility view of the Internet Explorer, perform the following operations:
Step 1 Open Internet Explorer.
Step 2 Choose Tools > Compatibility View Settings.
Step 3 Deselect all selected check boxes and click Close, as shown in

To clear the Internet Explorer cache, perform the following operations:
Step 1 Open Internet Explorer, and choose Tools > Internet Options.
The Internet Options dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 2-16.

Step 2 Select the General tab page, and click Delete.
The dialog box shown in Figure 2-17 is displayed.

Step 3 Select all check boxes and click Delete.
The Internet Options dialog box is displayed.
Step 4 Click OK.
The SMC version on the server has changed but the Internet Explorer client has not deleted its cache.
