The server cannot be pinged. A user accesses the IP address of the server management port and finds that the server is powered off.
Step 1 Open a web browser, enter the IP address of the server management port, and press Enter.
Step 2 Enter the user name and password. The server management page is displayed.
Step 3 Choose Alarm Management > View Alarm.
Step 4 Check whether the temperature alarms shown in Figure 5-6 exist in Alarm List

If no, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
If yes, go to the next step.
Step 5 Check the air conditioners in the equipment room and adjust the temperature within the specified range.
Step 6 On the server management page, choose Device Configuration > Boot OS, as shown in Figure 5-7.

Step 7 Select Boot, and click OK.
Step 8 After the server is powered on, check whether the fault is rectified.
If the fault is rectified, no further action is required. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
The high temperature in the equipment room causes the server to automatically power off for self-protection.
