Issue Description

Applicable Models:
eSpace IPC2202-VR, eSpace IPC2203-VR, and eSpace IPC2902-Z18.

The screen flickers when you view live video of an IPC. The fault persists even after peripheral unit (PU) parameters are restored or after the factory defaults are restored.

Handling Process

Step 1 Right-click the live video screen and choose Sensor Config to enter the PU configuration dialog box.

Step 2 Click the Aperture setting or Auto Iris tab.

For eSpace IPC2202-VR, click the Auto Iris tab. For eSpace IPC2203-VR and eSpace IPC2902-Z18, click the Aperture setting tab.

Step 3 Modify the IPC's aperture settings.

For eSpace IPC2202-VR, close the aperture. For eSpace IPC2203-VR and eSpace IPC2902-Z18, set Mode to Outdoor on the aperture setting page.

Step 4 Check whether the fault is rectified.
  • If yes, no further operation is required.
  • If no, contact your service provider for assistance.

Root Cause

The aperture is not correctly set when the IPC works in a high contrast environment.
