Unmatched Decoding Resolution

Issue Description

Applicable Models:
This fault may occur on DEC6001-E decoder.


Use two decoders that have the same version and configuration to decode the video of an IPC. The video can be displayed on the wall properly when one decoder is used. A black screen is displayed when another decoder is used, and a message indicating unmatched resolution is displayed.

Handling Process

Step 1 Confirm the output resolution of the DEC6001-E decoder.

When Channel Mode is set to Four Channels, the input resolution for the decoder cannot be larger than D1.

Step 2 Check whether the fault is rectified.
  • If yes, no further operation is required.
  • If no, contact your service provider for assistance.

Root Cause

The resolution setting of the decoder is incorrect.
