FAQ-What Should I Pay Attention to When Connecting Camera Cables

Publication Date:  2015-06-27 Views:  943 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

During camera installation, what should I pay attention to when connecting camera cables?

Pay attention to the following:

1.  In an outdoor installation scenario, install a surge protector and properly ground it.

2.  Separately lay out strong-current and weak-current cables, and reserve at least 5 cm distance between the strong-current and weak-current cables. When connecting cables to the camera, do not connect a strong-current cable to a weak-current interface to prevent damage to the camera.

3.  Apply insulation tape and waterproof tape to camera cables to prevent short circuits and water leakage.
