The login button is dimmed on the login page of the web configuration console.
To restart the WAS, perform the following operations:
1. Log in to the WAS as the WAS installation user.
2. Go to bin in the WAS installation directory.
If the WAS installation directory is /home/cti1/was/, run the cd /home/cti1/was/apache-tomcat/bin command to go to bin.
3. Stop the WAS service.
4. Start the WAS service.
5. If the fault still persists, obtain help through the channels described in Help Channels.
The WAS is running improperly.
