FAQ-What is the multipathing technology of hard disks

Issue Description

What is the multipathing technology of hard disks?

The multipathing technology of hard disks refers to a software mechanism to select a path for data after the data is written into cache and before it is flushed onto hard disks:

1.  If the local path of hard disks is normal, data is directly written onto local hard disks.

2.  If the local path is faulty or down, data is transferred to the peer controller, and then the peer DMP module writes data onto hard disks through the peer path.
