FAQ-Can the UltraPath Increase the Bandwidth

Publication Date:  2015-07-23 Views:  492 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Can the UltraPath increase the bandwidth?

The UltraPath cannot increase the bandwidth, but it can balance I/O loads. It is designed to share network traffic and expand the bandwidth. As a result, multiple paths are enabled to carry the I/O traffic that is to the same destination. When paths connected the application server and storage system controllers are equal to or more than two, you need to install the UltraPath and set the path-choosing policy to balance the load.
