Issue Description

How can I enable UltraPath installed on the Solaris operating system?

UltraPath for Solaris developed by Huawei Symantec automatically takes effect upon an application server restart after the software installation.

For the multipathing software integrated in the Solaris operating system, perform the following operation:

1.  Run the vi /kernel/scsi_vhci.conf command to add Vendor ID and Product ID of the storage system to be managed. (You can obtain the storage system Vendor ID and Product ID by running the format command and then selecting the inquiry option.) In this example, Vendor ID is HUAWEI and Product ID is S2300.

device-type-scsi-options-list =
"HUAWEI  S2300", "symmetric-option";

symmetric-option = 0x1000000;

2.  Run the stmsboot -e command. Enter y after every query. Then the application server will reboot.

# stmsboot -e
