1. Restart the PXE service of the BMR boot server.
a. Log in to the BMR boot server as user Administrator.
b. Choose Start > Administrative Tools > Services to open the service management page.
c. Right-click NetBackup BMR PXE Service.
d. On the displayed menu, choose Restart to restart the PXE service.
2. Restart the client to complete the BMR.
After the BMR fails, the BMR boot server keeps the first PXE session before the PXE service is restarted. The BMR boot server uses the reserved PXE session to interact with the client each time the client is restored. However, the client has been restarted and the PXE session that can be kept by the BMR boot server is lost. As a result, the BMR fails.
