VP9035A can not show image and can not ping

Issue Description

-> Codec can turn on

-> No image in TV display

-> Can not ping IP address of codec, that was configured before the failure

Handling Process

  1. Try to access the webpage of terminal without success
  2. Try to ping codec, no success
  3. Do the minimum upgrade process to check if the software was corrupted



Root Cause

The software was corrupted m it´s necessary to upgrade the software again to solve the problem


Do the minimum upgrade process as document below:

Minimum-System Upgrade

If a terminal's software is corrupted during upgrade due to power supply disconnection or other unknown reasons, the terminal may not be able to restart. In this case, use the minimum-system upgrade to forcibly upgrade the terminal.

Minimum-system upgrade


                                              1.     Set the PC to use a static IP address and configure the following settings:

l   IP address:

l   Subnet mask:

                                              2.     Use a pair of tweezers to set the dual in-line package (DIP) on the terminal's rear panel to Load, and start the terminal.

For 9030, 9035A, 9035A-1080p, 9039S, 9036SM, 9039S-M, 9039A, 9039AM, and 9039A-T, set the left switch to Load, as illustrated in the following figure.


For 9033, 9035, 9036, and 9039, set both switches to Load, as illustrated in the following figure.


To upgrade version R1, R3 or R5, perform steps 3 and 4.

                                              3.     Save v100r001.dat and UpgradeTool.exe in the same directory.

                                              4.     Double-click UpgradeTool.exe, enter in the IP address field, and click Upgrade.

To upgrade version R2, R4, R6, R7, R8, R9, or R10, perform steps 5 and 6.
