FAQ-What Can I Do If the VPM220W Unexpectedly Disconnects from My TE Series Endpoint

Publication Date:  2015-08-07 Views:  382 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

The microphone indicators blink blue in a clockwise direction, which indicates that the VPM220W has been disconnected from the TE series endpoint.

The Wi-Fi connection has been interrupted. The VPM220W should automatically reconnect to the endpoint. If this issue happens constantly, take the following measures to improve your Wi-Fi connectivity:
  • Ensure that no obstacles exist between the VPM220W and endpoint, especially objects that block Wi-Fi signal transmission.
  • Verify that the VPM220W is not too far from the endpoint. Generally, the distance between these two devices must not exceed 30 meters, or 10 meters when a wall exists between them.
  • You have confirmed that there is no interference source in the conference room. If another Wi-Fi hotspot is within proximity to the VPM220W, move it further from the endpoint to make sure the communication channels of these two Wi-Fi hotspots do not overlap. In Wi-Fi hotspot settings on the endpoint web interface, ensure that Channel is set to Auto.
