Issue Description

When the administrator of an IP phone forgets the password, how to restore factory defaults and initialize the login password?


eSpace 7800: On the LCD home screen, hold down OK to display the Factory data reset dialog box.

eSpace 7900: On the login screen, hold down the homage page button for 10s and choose to restore factory defaults as prompted.

eSpace 8950:
Hold down  for 15s to restore factory defaults.

eSpace 8850:

If you forget the phone lock password when eSpace 8850 is locked, hold down the Home page button to restore factory settings.

Restoring factory defaults will disable the phone lock function, clear the phone directory and call records.

eSpace 6805:

1 Tap MENU and choose Settings.
2 Tap MENU and choose Factory data reset.
3 Tap MENU.
4 Tap OK.

When factory defaults are restored, the login password is initialized to the default value.
