Issue Description

Windows Server 2012, Event 35: "Performance power management features on processor 11 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware"

Handling Process

Check the Windows Server 2012 for Event Manager and search for the following error:

Event 35, Kernel-Processor-Power (Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Processor-Power)

Root Cause

The Performance power management features are disabled in BIOS setting by default, that’s the cause of these alarms.

- EIST Support

- ACPI 3.0 T-States

- C-States


Enable "EIST Support", "ACPI 3.0 T-States" and "C-States" functions in BIOS


There may cause system work slowly or system outage issues when enabled this feature in some cases, this feature is recommended to be disabled.
